Joining the ASO

Board of Directors

 
The Alton Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors have the privilege of working collaboratively to direct and support the Orchestra.  The board is made up of community members who come together to provide strategic insight to ensure the Orchestra achieves its goal of "Making Music Come Alive For All."  Board meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 7pm in the Ringhausen building on the Lewis and Clark Community College campus.  People who are interested in attending the monthly board meetings should contact us at altonsymphony@gmail.com.
We are currently looking for members who are passionate about music, would like to bring about change for the community, and would like to learn the skills of succeeding in a non-profit organization.
We're especially interested in hearing from those who have previous experience on a non-profit board, have fundraiser experience, small business owners, have experience with marketing/social media, and have experience with technology.
