Auditions

If you are interested in performing with a dynamic group of musicians, then the Alton Symphony Orchestra encourages you to audition. The orchestra is made up of amateur and professional musicians from the community. Orchestra members that audition and are accepted must have an adult present at rehearsals if they are under the age of 18.

We are auditioning for the following instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, Oboe 2/English Horn, Horn 3, and Percussion. Please prepare the materials linked below for each instrument. (Clarinet/Bass Clarinet Audition Information will be added soon)

We are also looking for substitutes for all instruments. Please use the audition link above if you would like to be a substitute.
