Auditions

If you are interested in performing with a dynamic group of musicians, then the Alton Symphony Orchestra encourages you to audition. The orchestra is made up of amateur and professional musicians from the community. Orchestra members must be 16 years or older to audition and those under the age of 18 must be enrolled in private lessons and have consent of their instructor to audition.

We are auditioning for the following instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass, and Oboe/English Horn. Please prepare the materials linked below for each instrument.

We are also looking for substitutes for all instruments. Please use the audition link above if you would like to be a substitute.
