Allow the ASO to impassion you with "Romeo and Juliet", "Symphony No.2", and more. This concert also allows the impressions of the early pursuits of love heard through the music of our Marie Stillwell Concerto winners Jerry Chang and Aidan Ip, as well as The Alton Youth Symphony. Your love for music will be rekindled.....

New This Concert Season "Amen!"

Sunday April 2, 2017 at 3 p.m.

For the past 72 years, ASO has performed music across all genres. This year, we are debuting a brand new concert to our already musically packed season. AMEN! is a concert experience designed to combine the instruments of the Orchestra with the voices of our audience as we sing hymns that have survived numerous generations and have brought peace and hope to many. So bring your family and friends and sing along with the Alton Symphony Orchestra!

"In Harmony with Nature"

Saturday April 22, 2017 at 7 p.m.

Through the years, composers have looked to nature for inspiration in communicating the depths of their heart. From the "The Creation"by Haydn through the "Pastoral Symphony" of Beethoven, to the five scenes depicting the overwhelming vastness of the "Grand Canyon Suite" and "Appalachian Spring", this season finale concert will move you back in touch with nature.
